I am a total digital tools junkie, which is funny because I barely know how to use actual tools.
Yup. I’m the kind of man who keeps other men employed. This kid knows what I’m talking about!
Go ahead, laugh all you want.
I know my strengths and weaknesses, and as John Maxwell once say, “Let me tell you something about your weaknesses. You’re weak in your weaknesses.”
I rest my case.
My Top 5 Digital Tools
Sure, my wife may own more physical tools than me (true story!), but I have a plethora of digital tools I use everyday. And anytime I come across another useful one, I save it in my Tool Box.
If you put a gun to my head, it wouldn’t be the first time. Kidding!

Seriously, if you forced me to pick my top 5 favorite digital tools, they would be:
#1 WP Engine: WP Engine powers TribeRocket.com. Bluehost was down on my site launch and podcast launch days, so I decided to pay the premium and go with WP Engine. You certainly get what you pay for!
#2 Evernote: My brain outside my brain. If you’re into productivity, get into Evernote.
#3 1Password: Hands down the best password manager money can buy.
#5 Fantastical: Amazing calendar app for Mac users. Discovered it about two weeks ago. My life hasn’t been the same since.
Look What Michael Discovered
As you can tell, I get pretty geeked-out about new digital tools. Unfortunately, I don’t always have time to dig for the latest and greatest apps and extensions out there.
That’s why I love Michael Stelzner’s “Discovery of the Week” segment on the Social Media Marketing Podcast!
The only problem is I’m always doing something when I listen to podcasts, so I never get to write them down and I forget them as soon as the show is over. I’ve always wanted a list of them, but Google has yet to show me one.
But after last week’s awesome discovery (#1 on the list), I had no choice. It was time to dig through the archives, find them all, and compile the list.
Thus, I present to you in all of their glory – every one of Michael Stelzner’s discoveries since he started the Social Media Marketing Podcast!
