Dropbox – My cloud storage service of choice. Have all of your most important files at your fingertips everywhere you are.
Evernote – As their “Remember Everything” tagline implies, Evernote works like your backup brain. You can use it to remember simple tasks, or take it to the next level and use it for GTD and even as a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Create Awesome Online Courses – Online courses are one of the best ways for entrepreneurs to monetize their sites. This video series from David Siteman Garland of The Rise to the Top is a veritable master class in how to make multiple six-figures with online courses.
Freshbooks – Small business cloud accounting software that’s unbelievably easy to use. Focus on building your business instead of creating and chasing invoices.
Screenflow – Screencasting and screen recording software that can capture your Mac desktop, video camera, microphone and audio. A great way to record and demonstrate workflows for your clients.
YNAB – Let’s face it, as a business owner You Need A Budget. That’s what YNAB is all about. I have not found a better budget software because it not only tracks expenses but holds you accountable to stay within your spending limits for each category. Think of it as a digital envelope system for your business.
StudioPress Themes – If you’re building a WordPress site, it doesn’t get better than the Genesis Framework by StudioPress. They do all of the heavy-lifting code work for you so you can get straight to designing your site and then straight back to work.
Gravity Forms – Gravity Forms are so easy to build, you will have great looking forms on your site within 5 minutes. They automatically take on the look and feel of your site and integrate with every email service. A true no-brainer.
iStock Photo – Don’t waste your time anywhere else. This is the only place to find the best stock photos for your marketing material.
Moz – There is an old saying – What gets measured gets improved. Moz offers a host of tools to track and measure your brand mentions, search engine rankings and keyword optimization, just to name a few.
Namecheap – The best site to purchase domain names on the cheap.
Wistia – Fantastic video solution for people that want to graduate beyond YouTube. Features powerful analytics to know how viewers engage with your content. You can also track lead conversion, collect emails and add calls to action within videos. The player includes customizable controls and social share buttons. Best of all, there are no ads to distract your prospects!

POP!: Create the Perfect Pitch, Title, and Tagline for Anything – Sam Horn breaks down her practical process to make any message POP! This book is so good, you might want to buy two copies. You might go through your first one pretty quick from referencing it so much.
Launch: How to Quickly Propel Your Business Beyond the Competition – Michael Stelzner launched Social Media Examiner in October 2009. By the second month, the site had 25,000 visitors. Three months later, Technorati ranked SME as one of the top business blogs on the planet. Today, they’ve got 230,000 daily subscribers and growing. Clearly, Mike knows how to launch a business and his book gives you the blueprint.
Don’t Make Me Think, Revisited: A Common Sense Approach to Web Usability – Steve Krug’s original “Don’t Make Me Think” has become a classic for web designers. In this edition, he updates and expands on his ideas about what makes websites great.
